Welcome to the Truckee Meadows, Nevada, Blue Star Moms website.

We are a local chapter of the national Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. We are based in the Reno-Sparks area of northern Nevada and are mothers and step-mothers, who now have, or have had Active Duty and Honorably Discharged Service men and women.

The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is a non-partisan, non-political organization. We are a non-profit (501[c]3) organization supporting each other and our children while promoting patriotism. We do not support any political candidate, nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America, as does our organization.

We are honored to assist the community in assuring that our troops receive donations and needed items during their deployment. Please visit the various links in this website to become more familiar with who we are and what we do. We would love to have you join us.

We meet at 6:00 p.m. every first Tuesday of the month at the building located at the corner of Stanford Way and “I” Street in Sparks, Nevada. (Hope Chapel, 1125 Stanford Way, Sparks, Nevada) You are more than welcome to attend.
